Chess

Play chess with a friend without any accounts: create a room, pick your color and time control, send the link — and the game is on. The server validates every move (castling, en passant, checkmate, stalemate, draws), so cheating is impossible. Spectators can watch by the same link, and the finished game exports to PGN.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to register to play?

No. Both players just open a link; your seat in the game is remembered by the browser.

Are the chess rules actually enforced?

Yes — the server checks every move: turn order, pins, castling rights, en passant, promotion, checkmate, stalemate, the 50-move rule, threefold repetition and insufficient material.

Can other people watch our game?

Yes. Anyone with the link can join as a spectator: they see the board, moves and chat live, and players see a viewer counter.

Is there a chess clock?

Yes, with server-side time control: presets from 1+0 to 15+10 (or no clock). Flag falls are detected even if the player closes the tab.

Can I save the game?

Yes — download the full game in PGN format and open it in any chess app for analysis.
